AquaBox overview

(formerly known as "Single box" and "Mouse cage")

In their standard versions, every size of our "AquaBox" can be placed normally on each tier and place of our so-called type "V30" systems (Large-scale V30 system, "Stand-alone unit V30", "PP module"). Therefore, you can choose required "AquaBoxes" for your individual needs.

Our "AquaBoxes" comes in different versions and modifications.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The "AquaBoxes 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15" (> WITHOUT lids, sieves and other additional equipment) are basically made of polycarbonate (PC) and are autoclavable up to 121°C / ~250°F - EXCEPT our "AquaBox 1" (1 litre).
For a higher temperature during autoclaving, it is possible to order "AquaBoxes 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15" as "polysulfone version".
In "polysulfone versions" the boxes are autoclavable up to 134°C / ~273°F

AquaBox 1
For the use in our "PP module" (twelve per tier are possible), our "Stand-alone unit V30" (twelve per tier are possible) and our Mobile wagon for "SpawningBoxes 1" (twenty per tier are possible).
Further, "AquaBox 1" is usable in our "large-scale V30 systems". Possible amount per tier depends always on actual size.

The "AquaBox 1" is available in the following versions:

  • unmachined
    - with limpid lid
  • machined
    for the use in Aqua Schwarz type "V30" systems/PP-Modules
    >     equipped as follows:
    - drain over slit at front of the box
    - limpid lid (with lock against slip off)
    - feeding hole in the lid
    - supply hole at the back of the lid
  • with partition wall (machined)


Our "SpawningBox 1" is equipped as follows:

  • spawn insert with sieve bottom
  • limpid lid (with lock against slip off)
  • without supply and drain

(please buy spawn wad separately)


AquaBoxes 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15

Following variations of these boxes are available:

  • unmachined
    - with limpid lid
  • machined
    for the use in Aqua Schwarz type "V30" systems/PP-Modules
    > equipped as follows:
    - drain over sieve in front side (sieve exchangeable)
    - limpid lid (with lock against slip off)
    - feeding hole in the lid
    - supply hole at the back of the lid
  • with partition wall (machined)
