Two-tier technic room

Two-tier technic room

As previously mentioned each fish room has its own water circulation system with water treatment - composed of bio filters, fine filters, Drumfilter™ and UV filter system - placed in the next room.
Because of separate circuits the fish facility has prevention against cross-contamination between the fish rooms.

All water conditions are constantly measured and if necessary automatically readjusted. Should this not be possible and a manual intervention is needed, an according alarm will be displayed on the touch panel (optical) and by siren (acoustical).

Water preparation of incoming city water to “fish water” required for Zebrafish also happens automatically. A mixing station blends city water with reverse osmosis water. The fish water is stored in two tanks with one thousand liters.
During daily automatically water change and to fill up water level in the facilities because of naturally evaporation and withdrawal the prepared fish water goes from here by pumps into the fish rooms.
Arrived in the fish rooms water is distributed to the single blocks of the facility sections.

After the pass through it flows to the associated water treatment systems mentioned before.
